Position Summary
St. Anthony Catholic High School seeks a full-time Math Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The position entails a full-time teaching schedule with the possibility of teaching all grade levels (9-12).

This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about Title IX violations. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Essential Functions

Job Duties

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient knowledge of Math curriculum and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS);
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Understanding of the mission of St. Anthony Catholic High School;
  • Successful completion of VIRTUS and background check;
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Math or Education.

Required Work Experience
Experience teaching math in a student setting.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or a teaching certification in other disciplines.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
Texas teacher certification or a projected plan for certification.

Work Hours
7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with extended hours as needed, especially for school events.
