The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.&nbsp;&nbsp;Job SummaryProvides general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients in an outpatient clinic setting.&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam&nbsp;</li><li>Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients</li><li>Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with the approved procedure</li><li>Draw blood and preparation labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing&nbsp;</li><li>Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions</li><li>Respond to all lab messages and call back requests</li><li>Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations</li><li>Ensure patient immunizations are well documented and administered in accordance with the approved procedure</li><li>Conduct physician referrals as well as service pre-certifications on an as-needed basis</li><li>Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures</li><li>Maintain complete and accurate documentation</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned</li></ul>&nbsp;QualificationsAssociates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
