These experiments aim to study bacterial manipulation of immune responses. The person will also oversee departmental equipment housed in the molecular core. Minimal requirements include familiarity with molecular techniques, immunology assays, and biochemical assays, including PCR, qPCR, bacterial plasmid cloning, ELISA, genotyping, and western blotting.&nbsp;Other duties: Responsibilities include hands-on laboratory work such as DNA, RNA, and protein isolation from mouse and mammalian and bacterial cells, maintaining cell lines, and conducting infection assays such as gentamicin protection assay.
