You will partner closely with Finance Technology Transformation, Enterprise Data Governance, Controllership, Risk, and other teams to drive data governance and data quality within Finance.The FDG Manager is a collaborator, a well-organized, action-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and time management skills, confident in presenting, facilitating, and building a network of strong relationships across our organization.Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Finance Data Governance in compliance with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy ensuring the appropriate accountability model and processes for data asset management, metadata management, data quality, and issue resolution.</li><li>Participate in all aspects of Data Governance including data activation steps, compliance with&nbsp;data standards and privacy regulations.</li><li>Support strategic improvements to data assessment process and making necessary enhancements to data analytical and data quality tools.</li><li>Lead root-cause-analysis of data quality issues and support in remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback.</li><li>Support development, validation, and maintenance of business glossary, data integration, data lineage, and data management activities</li><li>Partner with various departments and stakeholders to foster a strong data governance culture and integrate data governance management considerations into strategic planning processes.</li><li>Evaluate new projects, products, emerging technology use cases for potential impacts to the Company's strategy.</li><li>Project Management: Manage data governance projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and&nbsp;timelines.</li><li>Communicate data governance assessment findings, oversight activities, and recommendations clearly and concisely to different audiences, including senior management.</li><li>Participate in cross-functional teams and projects related to strategic initiatives and Finance Data Governance enhancements.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>2-5 years of experience in data governance, data management, regulatory or related roles, preferably within the financial services industry.</li><li>Master’s degree in finance/Accounting.</li><li>Technical and data analysis skills with prior experience with SQL.</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of metadata practices such as data lineage, data dictionaries, business glossaries, Data Quality rules, source system inventories, etc.</li><li>Demonstrated working knowledge of Agile methodology and delivery concepts or other project management methodologies including SDLC.</li><li>Strong relationship skills and communication is essential as the role require partnering with multiple groups e.g., Business process owners, Technologies, and Enterprise Data Governance.</li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, ability to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently within tight deadlines.</li><li>Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, and effectively manage in a matrix organization.</li><li>Experience of a wide range of architectures/platforms.</li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills. </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;<ul><li>Experience of Finance, Banking, or similar industries is a strong plus.</li><li>Prior experience of data governance, metadata, and data lineage tools such as, Collibra, MANTA is strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets is strongly preferred.</li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.</li></ul>Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
