The specific job duties and benefits can vary between franchises.&nbsp;&nbsp;Job SummaryPerform radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease.&nbsp; Supervise X-Ray Technologist Staff.&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;<ul><li>Interview, hire, and train all x-ray staff</li><li>Greet patients and explain procedures to patients in a compassionate manner</li><li>Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures</li><li>Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques</li><li>Maintain a neat and clean working environment and ensure all supplies have been ordered and stocked</li><li>Process images, review for proper identification and quality control and prepare images for reading by a physician as well as radiologist overreads&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize both digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and all policies and procedures</li><li>Aid physician with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocol as necessary.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed</li><li>Willingness to cross-train in other roles as appropriate including medical assisting and reception</li><li>Serve as Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when needed</li><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul> QualificationsAssociate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
